Michael J. Amadio

Attorney

A Lake Norman native and graduate of William A. Hough High School, Michael and his family have resided in the greater Charlotte area since 2004. He received both his bachelor's degree and Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. His practice primarily focuses on business law and real estate matters but can assist clients as they navigate complex legal issues in any other area of law.


While attending the undergraduate program at Case Western Reserve, Michael was a 3-year starter and elected team captain of the Spartan football team. During his time on the team, he won two conference championships, played in the NCAA tournament in two of his four seasons, and was a 5-time member of the PAC All-Academic team. At the conclusion of his playing career, Michael was inducted into the Hampshire Honor Society for achievement in athletics and academics.


While in law school, Michael worked for the Kramer Law Clinic, assisting indigent defendants seeking to seal or expunge their criminal record and/or apply for certificates of employment. In addition to his work with the clinic, Michael was hired as the Inside Linebacker’s coach for the Case Western Reserve University football team, a position he held for 3 years, leading 3 players to their first all-conference honors, and helping the team finish in the top 10 in the country for team defense.



After spending two summers working with Homesley & Wingo Law Group, Michael is excited to return home to the Lake Norman area and continue to work with the Iredell, Mecklenburg, and Mooresville communities. When not helping clients, Michael can be found spending time with his fiancé, Erin, and their two rabbits, or cheering on the Panthers, Charlotte FC, and the Tar Heels.
