CAMERON M. BRAY

From Phoenix, Arizona, Cameron Bray moved to North Carolina to attend Wake Forest University School of Law, where he graduated in 2023 with Pro Bono and Wake Forest Law Review honors. Cam is a second-generation lawyer whose father practices in Phoenix, Arizona, and whose passion for justice and the law drove him to become an attorney.

Cam received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of William & Mary in Virginia and the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, graduating in 2020 cum laude. He was the Publicity Representative for the University of St. Andrews Celtic Society (founded in 1796) and served as a Sportswriter for the William & Mary Flat Hat, where he covered men’s basketball, soccer, and field hockey in the newspaper.

His major was English literature, focusing on Faulkner, Southern Gothic novels, and modernist literature.

During law school, Cam served as the Project Coordinator for the Juvenile Sentence Review Board (“JRSB”) Pro Bono Project, which is now the Wake Forest Innocence & Justice and Clemency Clinic. He also interned with the Forsyth County Public Defender’s Office and worked part-time as a law clerk for James Barrett Wilson & Associates, where he gained experience with personal injury litigation and criminal defense. He completed more than 100 pro bono hours and tried cases in Forsyth County District Court under a third-year practice license, representing clients charged with simple assault and battery in 1C misdemeanor court.

Cam is the newest associate at Homesley & Wingo Law Group, PLLC. He is excited to be a part of the Mooresville, Iredell County, community and to call the city of Mooresville home. Besides public service, Cam is dedicated to the art of writing, where he keeps a handwritten weekly journal, and the rule of law. He looks forward to providing you with excellent legal services, assistance, and representation at Homesley & Wingo, carrying on its tradition of zealous advocacy and sound, professional advice with complete candor, honesty, and integrity as a lawyer.
