A native of Catawba County, Dalton Miller is glad to be returning to Western
North Carolina and practicing law with Homesley & Wingo in Mooresville.
From a young age, Dalton developed a desire to help people solve tough
problems and handle unexpected circumstances. Throughout his time growing
up in Hickory and his time in college, Dalton took upon himself various
community service opportunities to help those in need and to help better
his community.
While studying law at the University of North Carolina School of Law in Chapel Hill, Dalton served as a student attorney with the school’s Youth Justice Clinic representing young clients and helping them navigate the juvenile court in Raleigh and Durham. At the same time, Dalton served the residents of Orange County and surrounding communities providing income tax filing assistance as a member and Vice President of the UNC Law Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. Dalton also enjoyed the amazing opportunity to volunteer with Judges Calabria, Stroud, and Elmore on the North Carolina Court of Appeals. In addition, Dalton received accommodation for his service in providing over 125 hours of pro bono legal services while in law school.
Dalton is excited to be part of the Homesley & Wingo family, where he plans to focus his practice on the areas of Criminal Law, Commercial and Business Litigation, Land Use and Zoning, Administrative and Regulatory Law, and Appellate Litigation in order to help the members of his community navigate the complex issues they face.
