Clark D. Tew

Clark Tew was born in Raleigh, and raised in Holly Springs, North Carolina. In 2007, he graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Germanic Languages.

Clark was awarded the John T. Byrum Scholarship to attend law school at Wake Forest University, graduating in 2010. While receiving his legal training, he worked for firms in Raleigh, Elizabeth City, and Winston-Salem, as well as at the Rockingham County District Attorney’s Office. In addition, Clark was a member of Moot Court and the Federalist Society during law school.

Clark focuses his practice area in employment and labor law and general civil litigation, including employment contracts, termination agreements, severance packages, and wrongful termination. He is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association.  Clark has experience representing employers and employees before  the North Carolina Employment Security Commission, in State and Federal Court, and during investigations by the North Carolina Industrial Commission and the United States Department of Labor. 

A native of North Carolina, Clark lives here in Mooresville, and is married to Meredith, a speech language pathologist and lifelong Iredell County resident. Outside of work, Clark is a member of the Iredell County Republican Party Executive Committee, Chair of the Iredell County Young Republicans, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Mooresville Soup Kitchen.
